With the arrival of Sawan, Punjab’s fields turned lush green, the fragrance of wet earth soothed every heart, and the cool breeze brought a refreshing sense of peace.

As evening approached, mothers, sisters and daughters gathered for Trinjan, a beautiful Punjabi tradition of togetherness.

Some spun cotton on the charkha, others embroidered phulkari, while many simply laughed and shared stories of life.
